G League Ignite forward Ron Holland II is the latest player sharing insight into his life on and off the court through a monthly video diary with Andscape.

Phoenix Suns guard Bradley Beal participated in a monthly video and diary this season as well. NBA players Draymond Green, Vince Carter, Trae Young, CJ McCollum, Fred VanVleet, De’Aaron Fox, Cade Cunningham, James Wiseman and Josh Jackson have participated in previous diaries.

In Part 5 of his video diary with Andscape, Holland discusses the excitement of the NBA draft lottery, his performance at the draft combine, the skills of projected No. 1 pick Alexandre Sarr, the end of the G League Ignite program, his health and more.

Holland said once the draft order was revealed, he was especially frustrated when he wasn’t included in the projected top-5 picks by ESPN.

“When I didn’t see my name up there, it just kind of had my blood boiling,” Holland said. “That made me want to kill these workouts, kill these pro days and individual workouts I’m going to have. Every single thing I’m going to walk into and dominate.

“I feel like it’s a good thing though because it shows that even though I’m where I want to be, I’m still not there. If people don’t think I’m No. 1, I still have to push harder and show people what it is and why I deserve to be No. 1.”
