NeNe Leakes’ Son Sued for $30k in Alleged Unpaid Child Support, Ex Wants Him Thrown In Jail

NeNe Leakes’ eldest son is being called out by his ex-girlfriend for the alleged $30,000 in unpaid child support he owes her.

Bryson Bryant, the older son of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” star, has been named in a lawsuit filed by his ex Symone Davis, Radar Online reports. According to the filing made in Gwinett County, Georgia, on February 2, Davis accuses Bryant of failing to follow through on a court-ordered monthly child support payment of $708 after he was declared the biological father of their son Blaze in July 2020.

The child support payments were to begin in August 2020. However, Davis claims Bryant hasn’t made a single payment since the court order, resulting in an overdue amount of $29,736 in unpaid child support.

Davis is not only after the child support but also wants Bryant thrown in jail due to him being “able to perform what the Court ordered as to his child support obligations.”

However, his “refusal to do so is willful,” the filing states.

“The Respondent should be held in contempt and incarcerated for failure to comply with the Court’s Order,” the motion adds.

The lawsuit comes two months after Davis opened up about the alleged neglect her son is subjected to with Bryant and Leakes. Davis claims to have reached out to both parties to create a relationship with her son, to no avail.

“I sent him pictures of Blaze. He opens the message but doesn’t respond,” Davis said.

Bryant’s lawsuit follows his October 2023 arrest for giving police a fake name during his July 2023 arrest for fentanyl possession. At the time, he got himself out of jail after paying a $6,100 bond for charges including loitering, giving law enforcement a false name, and possession of a scheduled II controlled substance. Bryant initially told police that he was his younger brother, Brentt Leakes.
